THE CRAMPS are back with the best LP they've ever made: FLAMEJOB, out now in both the US and Europe. After hosting US MTV's 120 Minutes, they are now headed for the continent and MTV Europe's Most Wanted. It's all in the course of a world tour dubbed Flamejob '95.
FLAMEJOB widens the scope of their usual intellectualised psychobilly -- with allusions to Duchamp ("Naked Woman Falling Down the Stairs"), tattoo-art ("I'm Customised"), car shows ("Sado County Auto Show") and....the Twist, that strange dance invented by gay men in New York back in the Sixties. Chubby Checker took it into the mainstream: Lux and Ivy do it really twisted -- as you can see on their showing-now video, "Ultra Twist".
Just remember: it's YOUR real time and YOUR real life.
